The apostle Paul was wholeheartedly committed to the advancement of the Gospel. Since his encounter with the Lord on the Damascus road, every act of his life was a step in that direction. Christ stood then at the center of his life and of his ministry. He was wholeheartedly committed to embrace and fulfill the agenda of Jesus Christ as clearly proclaimed: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor (Luke 4: 18-19).
The advancement of the Gospel through COGIC Haiti must be grounded in this original agenda established by our Lord. In the current context of Haitian reality at the dawn of the twenty-first century, this agenda can be fulfilled through the inspiring guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT to bring about reconstruction, evangelisation, education and excellence.
